How can you not love this German Shepherd and his little friends, when they make sure your home is the safest in town?
Do you have your guard dog too?

Did you know…
German Shepherds generally make great guard dogs because of their inherent intelligence, strength and loyalty. GSD will usually be happy with the job of protecting his family as a guard dog.
If you want to have a German Shepherd guard dog you should train him very early in his life. The best time is starting at 8 weeks old. Socialization should be the first part of training. Introduce your German Shepherd to new people, places and things. Teach him to socialize for him to learn what is a threat and what is not.
Train your GSD with obedience training. Your pal should completely understand that you’re the master. He should master the basic commands like sit, come, stay and down.
Moreover, you should establish rules in your home for your German Shepherd. Discipline is a big part to become a good guard dog. Some good house rules you can observe are no begging during meals, no jumping on people and staying off furniture.
