Did you know that dogs are not totally color blind?
While dogs were believed to be color blind, scientists these days confirm that dogs can perceive a perceive a limited palate of colors. They discovered that our furry pals do have enough color preceptor cones in their eyes to see certain colors.
Also, dogs have greater peripheral vision compared to humans. However, they cannot perceive details as well as we can. Their vision can easily disregard stationary objects. Our canine friends heavily depend on their sense of smell whenever they are unsure about what they are seeing.
Although dog’s can easily miss motionless objects, they are pretty sensitive to moving things. They can easily perceive direction, speed and recognize humans and animals through the pattern of movement.
