I wonder what caught the attention of these two beautiful German Shepherd dogs. Perhaps their favorite toy, or treats?

Training Your Dog to Look at You
It may be quite challenging to get your dog’s attention particularly if you are in a place with a lot of distractions. That’s why it is recommended to train your GSD the âlookâ command. This is used to get your petâs attention. You’ll surely find this trick useful, especially when you need your dog to focus on you.
For most dogs, hearing their name can immediately get their attention. You can use this to start your “look” command training. If your buddy looks at your face after calling their name, praise him or give him a treat. This will be a good start to teach him to focus on you when called.
However, not all dogs respond immediately to hearing their name. In this case, you can use a treat to make him look at you. First wave the treat in front of his nose, then slowly pull the treat up to your face. When your pooch end up looking at your face immediately praise him and give him the treat.
Remember to keep your training sessions short. Just be patient and continue practicing with your dog. You can gradually move to training in more distracting environments. Soon you’ll have a GSD that can focus on you in any given situation.
