These two lovely German Shepherds seem to be thinking about something really important. Maybe what toy to play with, or perhaps what’s for dinner.

How to Stimulate Your Dog’s Mind
Many dogs don’t get enough mental stimulation. Physical activities need to stimulate your GSD’s mind in order for him to be truly satisfied and happy. If not, behavior problems may develop. Here are some tips to properly stimulate your buddy’s mind.
- Work on a new trick. Training session will provide enough mental challenge to your beloved pooch. Look for new tricks you can work on with him. If you are done with all the basic commands, move on to advance commands. You can check out the Internet or ask a trainer for trick ideas.
- Provide some interactive toys. There are some interactive games you can play with your dog such as canine puzzles. You can also stimulate his nose and make a game out of hiding his favorite treat. He’ll definitely do his best to figure out how to find his favorite treat.
- Introduce him to new faces. Introduce your GSD to new sights, sounds, and smell. You can take him to places like dog parks so he can have the opportunity to engage his senses.
