Tips for Walking Your Dog in the Woods
Walking your furry buddy in the woods is a fun activity. It not only provides physical exercise for him but it also offers a lot of opportunity to stimulate his sense of smell from different kinds of smells. And not to mention that it is great bonding time with your dog.
While it is ideal would to let your dog be free in the woods, it may not be safe to do. Also, there might be restrictions in specific nature parks. Remember, your dog may behave well in your home but when he becomes curious and follows different scents, he might get lost. So make sure that your pal is wearing a secure collar and a leash. It is best not to allow your pet to go off leash in the woods, no matter how trained they are.
Moreover, be wary of what your dog eat. Avoid streams, berries, and other objects dogs would consume. You don’t know if it’s safeto drink or eat so simply bring along some of his treats and fresh water.
