Tips on finding dog friendly beaches
There are plenty of dog friendly beaches, however they may have different rules and guidelines. Some beaches allow dogs to play and swim off-leash, but there are also some beaches that require dogs to remain on leashes. So it is important to do your research well. Here are some tips:
- Use your reliable search engine, and search for “dog beach” along with the name of your state or city.
- Check if your State Parks’ website and look for information on any water areas open for dogs or pets in general.
- Try to check with the Visitor Center in your area. You can get some details about dog friendly beaches and parks or at least ask them to steer you to the right direction.
- Ask your local pet supply store for recommendations.
