Many animal shelters and rescue groups are always on the look for good people who can give new homes to their rescue dogs. Choosing this gorgeous German Shepherd is certainly a great decision.

How to Choose a Rescue Dog
So you are decided to adopt a dog or puppy from a shelter. Before going to the shelter or look online, you should take note that you must only get one at a time. I know it’s really hard! While you may the torn between several cute puppies, learn to control yourself and just settle for one at a time. You can always go back after a while as there will never be a shortage of adorable rescue dogs and puppies.
Yous should also consider what you currently need for in a dog. Are you looking for a running partner? A calm companion for long walks? Is your schedule consistent? Is your home chaotic or peaceful? Such questions will help you determine how young and energetic your adopted dog should be.
If you feel that you just don’t have a lot of energy and time, you can go for an older dog as they tend to be more harmonious. Plus, mature dogs are more emotionally stable than adolescent dogs or puppies. But of course, if you happen to fall in love with a puppy or adolescent rescue dog, just be ready for his energy, spirit and and tricks!
