this beautiful German Shepherd is so fond of this stuffed toy that he played with it and slept on it too. Now it’s broken and he enjoys a brand new bed! Hopefully his new bed is sturdy enough for him.

Why your pooch needs a bed too
While our German Shepherds can definitely sleep on the floor, he or she will probably thank you if you provide him or her a special bed of his or her very own. Your loyal companion deserves a dog bed for a lot of reasons:
- It provides him a sense of security. Having a cozy spot in the same location will help your GSD feel secure and that it’s his special place. Like us humans, dogs also appreciate having a place to claim as his own.
- Dog beds provide comfort. If you’ll give your dog a choice between sleeping sleeping on the ground or on a soft bed, he’d probably choose a bed that offers enough cushioning against the cold, hard floor.
- It will help save your furniture. If your dog has his own place to sleep, your furniture will be spared from fur and dirt. This is very much beneficial if you have a family member who have certain allergies.
Nowadays, there are plenty of dog beds available. There are many styles, colors, materials to choose from. Just remember to consider the size of your dog too as well as his sleeping positions when getting one for him.
